Shipping
I make every effort to get shipments in the mail as quickly as possible. All shipments are put in the mail no more than three business days after an order is paid for. I cannot guarantee arrival times due to variables that are out of my control, but I do everything in my power to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
I ship most orders first class through the U.S. Postal Service (orders that weigh more than 13 oz. are shipped via Priority Mail) to keep shipping costs low. If you are interested in shipping by a faster method in the U.S., please e-mail me, and we can set up a special shipment. I do not send packages with insurance or delivery confirmation unless requested.
All of my packages are carefully wrapped in a sturdy cardboard box or bubble mailer to prevent any damage to your items. If there is any damage to your order during shipping, please let me know.
Holiday shipping deadlines
Please keep the following deadlines in mind for Christmas gift orders:Central/South American and Africa: December 2
Canada and all other international orders: December 9
U.S. Orders (First Class & Priority Mail): December 20
U.S. Orders (Express Mail -- additional fees will apply): December 22
If you'd like to ship a package via an expedited shipping method, please e-mail kate@katieblairdesigns.com. Note that these shipping deadlines are for noon on the day listed, in order to allow time for packaging. Additionally, please remember that these are deadlines provided to us by the U.S. Postal Service, and we can never guarantee when your order will arrive. When in doubt, ship early!
